You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis job is part of the Talent and Culture Team in the Family History Department (FHD) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You will be responsible for delivering key training to the department. The largest percentage of the time will be spent supporting the new hire on-boarding journey and new manager training. Creating new training may be needed occasionally. You will manage training calendars create class invitations and send them to participants. You will take roll and track employee participation creating and sending certificates of completion to attendees and reporting on key metrics relating to onboarding and manager development. You will monitor the FHD training email account and respond to messages. You will build and send surveys to gather class feedback and report on that data. You will also support RootsTech and other department events as needed.
We are looking for a fun energetic candidate with facilitating or teaching experience to deliver department-wide courses. Speaking a second language is helpful. A knowledge of virtual meeting platforms especially MS Teams is necessary. The role requires the use of MS Excel Forms Outlook SharePoint Teams and other collaborative tools. You will attend a few weekly meetings but are relied on to carry out training courses without much oversight. You may also be asked to help with Talent and Culture Team projects as needed.
On a given day you will be interacting with new recruits sending emails to encourage class attendance and responding to questions. You will be a presenter or co-presenter on new hire onboarding courses. You may reach out to new managers to assist them with their learning path. You will be added to a community training email account to correspond with class participants. You may also prepare send and analyze surveys or lead focus groups and help with other training measurements. Youll be given time to work on your own family history to gain proficiency and time for professional development.

Generally your work time will be flexible. Most scheduled classes occur on Wednesdays between the hours of 8-4. Occasionally classes are scheduled earlier in the day for employees in the Western Hemisphere or later for those in the Eastern Hemisphere. You will be working onsite in either SLC and/or Lehi every day depending on business needs.
This is a full-time internship requiring 40 hours per week for one year.
Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
