Luhv Factory & Vegan Bistro in Hatboro PA is looking for one food prep to join our 11-person strong team. We are located on 1020 Industrial Blvd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter motivated and engaged.
$14 an hour
7am-5pm (flexible)- Can be up to 35 hours a week
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Handle vegan ingredients and prepare them for processing.
- Measure mix and combine ingredients following specified recipes or formulas.
- Operate equipment such as slicers grinders or blenders for food preparation.
Production Tasks
- Monitor and control food processing machinery during operations.
- Assemble food products on production lines ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
- Pack and label finished goods for distribution.
Quality Control
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality consistency and compliance with standards.
- Report any irregularities or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Hygiene and Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment.
- Follow food safety protocols and workplace safety regulations at all times.
- Wear kitchen safe clothing hair net gloves closed toe shoes etc.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other team members to meet production deadlines.
- Assist in other areas as needed to support overall production goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation manufacturing or a similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up about 25-50 pounds as needed.
Work Environment
- Temperature-controlled environment (cold or hot depending on product type).
- Fast-paced team-oriented workspace.
