Shift: Day Shift 10 Hours Full-Time 40 Hours
Join Logan Health as an Advanced Imaging Technologist where youll play a critical role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services across multiple modalities. In this position youll operate advanced imaging equipment including MRI CT and X-ray to capture high-quality diagnostic images that support patient care and clinical decision-making. What Youll Do:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in the following modalities: MRI CT X-ray and/or Mammography.
Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and PACS to ensure accurate and efficient image capture and review.
Conduct patient assessments follow exam protocols and collaborate closely with providers to support safe and effective care.
Maintain equipment troubleshoot issues and perform quality control checks to ensure peak performance and patient safety.
Uphold regulatory and departmental standards while consistently delivering excellent patient experiences.
What Youll Bring:
Current Montana Radiologic Technologist License (required).
ARRT Registration (required).
Fully competent to perform at least 3 of the following modalities (required):
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Computed Tomography (CT)
Radiology (X-Ray)
Mammography
Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA)
2 years of experience working with PACS and cross-sectional anatomy (required).
Current AHA BLS certification or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire.
Strong organizational critical thinking and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team-based environment.
Comfort using Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Meditech and/or Cerner (Oracle) systems.
Previous experience troubleshooting imaging equipment and adapting to standardized workflows.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent needs.

Qualifications:
Current Montana Radiology Technologist License required.
ARRT Registration required.
Current AHA BLS certification or ability to successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
Fully competent to perform a minimum of three (3) of the following modalities required.
MRI
CT
X-Ray
Mammography
DEXA
Minimum of two (2) years experience with PACS and cross-sectional anatomy required.
Previous experience troubleshooting several concrete variables in standardized situations preferred.
Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Performs and documents assessment of the patient utilizing available information and incorporating the patients perception of illness/condition.
Assists provider with examinations and procedures as directed and in accordance with established scope of practice as applicable to assigned area(s).
Maintains an understanding of current exam protocols as applicable to assigned area(s). Works in collaboration with the radiology department to ensure the most up to date protocols are followed.
Accurately and efficiently transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments. Consistently problem solves issues affecting patient care.
Follows current exam protocols to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as applicable to assigned area(s).
Maintains accountability to technologist competency/quality control standards. Reviews QA report and takes appropriate action as indicated.
Assists with maintaining and coordinating repairs and services as needed. Monitors equipment for malfunction and alerts leadership per department procedures and protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
Performs administrative responsibilities per department procedure and protocol
Performs daily safety warm-up and quality control checks.
Exhibits a working knowledge of the imaging equipment operation.
Views images of area being scanned on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures.
Understands contraindications and potential hazards of different exams.
Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient including neonate pediatric adolescent geriatric and general population.
Maintains records of examinations for departmental statistics and research.
Schedules patient for examinations and procedures providing instructions for patient preparations.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
