We are currently looking for a Filling Supervisor to work a 12-18 month contract full-time position on our Midnight shift (Sunday to Thursday 23:00h-7:00h EST) at our Alliston facility!

The following are dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses safety shoes ear plugs jumpsuit hood hairnet beard cover gloves isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning)
Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise
Involves working around equipment machinery and belts
What Youll be Doing:
The Filling Supervisor coordinates the filling of high-volume IV codes using highly sophisticated automated equipment. They supervise the activities of team members and machinery to fill the required amount of product at the least cost consistent with quality standards and specifications. The position is responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of the equipment and facility in this area. Utilize Baxters Shared Commitments as a framework to lead their team and help drive a high-performing culture!
Improve the effectiveness of all team members by providing documented training mentoring employees during feedback reviews and daily activities to improve skills providing recognition for good performance.
Also ensures company policies are applied consistently and fairly and takes appropriate action to correct unacceptable behaviors.
Set-up adjusts trouble-shoots and repairs the automated equipment on the line(s).
Supply technical support to employees to resolve quality and equipment issues.
Participating and completing NCRs and CAPAs
Identify and implement Value Improvement Projects to reduce product cost or improve quality by supervising scrap and efficiencies reviewing results with employees and implementing IDEAs to improve processes.
Ensure all activities and products are in compliance with specifications and GMPs by reviewing all batch records taking appropriate actions to respond to out of tolerance produce and identifying corrective actions to prevent non-conformances.
Maintain the facility and equipment to meet all GMP and 6S requirements.
Meet financial commitments by ensuring that the budgeted labour standards are met throughout the year as well as assisting in establishing budget production standards and manufacturing expenses for the department for the next year.
What Youll Bring:
Successful completion of High School or GED
Mechanical and or Electrical proficiency
35 years of supervisory experience within manufacturing industry
People Management Experience people management mentor and team development skills.
Strong communication skills ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Strong ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to take a leading role in the continuous improvement cycle to reduce cost and improve product quality in the department.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
Intermediate proficiency in Word Excel & PowerPoint and EBR.
Good solid understanding of SOPs/specs blueprints PCSs and BOMs
Experience within a manufacturing operation
Strong mechanical proficiency and equipment troubleshooting ability.
Practical experience using Lean tools (6S LSW VM DA Kaizen Value Stream Mapping)
