Description
The ROLE
- Assists with planning and construction phases of the project.
- Plan and support onsite construction activities including providing direction as required.
- Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other documentation as required in the project planning conditions as required.
- Setup project quality controls in accordance with Project Specifications.
- Direct construction operations and maintenance activities at project site as required.
- Track daily production and costings develops forecast cost to complete and measure performance against this for activity codes/budget within area of responsibility.
- Assists Project Manager and site staff in evaluating third party designs and construction methods.
- Ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
- Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

Skills And Experiences
About YOU
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years relevant experience in civil construction industry including minimum 1 year at Project Engineer level.
- High level of competency in project delivery and financial reporting
- Comprehensive knowledgeof civil engineering principals to maximise sustainability and safety wile minimisingdefects.
- Detailed knowledge ofGovernment specifications Australian standards contract administration procurement and subcontracting principles.
- Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with customers colleagues and management.
- Abililty to understand write and implement Project Management Plan(s) and Specifications.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software - in particular Microsoft Excel.
- Current Drivers licence
- White Card
- Managed delivery for package of work or project in excess of $2 million in value.
- Civil Structures experience (desirable)
- Job Pac experience (desirable)
