Job Description
Compensation:120K to 150K
Environment:Washington DC (REMOTE)
This great career opportunity will be with a growing AI Tech client of Cordia by Cherry Bekaert. This client is PE backed and their AI product is industry leading. This role is fully remote with occasional travel to Washington DC. Must by local to the DC metro/Baltimore area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with US GAAP including reviewing and posting journal entries in NetSuite.
- Validate monthly account reconciliations resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Work with Accounting Managers and the Director of Accounting to create closing schedules and address issues affecting financial results.
- Document transaction processes in compliance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate on NetSuite enhancements and provide ad hoc analysis for global teams including Senior Management and other departments.
- Set and monitor staff performance goals assign accountabilities conduct performance appraisals and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 4 years of experience (Public Accounting CPA highly preferred)
