Description
Position is responsible for picking inventory from assigned areas for customer orders in a warehouse environment. The picker will place these items in containers and bins following specific instructions and arrange in designated drop-off locations. The picker will check items for any damage and confirm correct quantities are selected.
Responsibilities:
- Locates product to fulfill picking tickets
- Completes orders and moves product to shipping area
- Ensures the correct product is picked and packaging is in good condition
- Operates machinery aisle pickers and pallet jacks
- Requires use of computers scanners and label printers using order picking database
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in designated work area
- Follows all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to operate machinery specifically use of aisle picker
- Comfortable with heights
- Position requires standing for an 8-hour or longer shift
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
- Strong communication skills
- Must work effectively with team members
