Description
Newberry College invites applications for a Visiting Instructor of Biology position (one year renewable) beginning in August 2025. Candidates need to have the education skills and experience to teach General Biology. Preferences given to applicants with experience and/or interest in teaching Human Anatomy and . Physiology: The successful candidate should be able to engage students through personalized pedagogy to be active participants in their learning help the students build confidence in their intellectual abilities and develop alternate strategies to help students grasp the material. Position is contingent on available funding.
Duties and Responsibilities: The position includes 12-15 credit hours per semester of biology courses (lecture and lab) including General Biology Human Biology Human Anatomy and Physiology.

Qualifications
Qualifications: An earned masters or doctorate degree in Biology or related field. ABO candidates with significant work experience will also be considered.
