Job Description

Stinson LLP seeks an associate attorney with at least two years of experience to join our Denver office.

Excellent research writing analytical skills and academics are required. Clerkship and court experience are a plus. The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills:

  • Employment litigation including wage and hour employment discrimination and non-competition litigation;
  • Experience leading EEOC and analogous state/local agency charge responses;
  • Employment counseling and policy drafting/review experience (e.g. separation agreements non-competes executive employment agreements); and
  • Experience conducting employment due diligence and supporting M&A transactions a plus.

The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills a high degree of maturity a willingness to learn and a desire to manage a challenging workload. We are relentlessly committed to client service and look for candidates who share that commitment.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of employment law experience and the ability to handle sophisticated work at a national level. Active Colorado license or eligibility to become admitted to the Colorado bar is required.

Our associate compensation structure has two components: (1) a base salary (based on an 1850 billable hour target) and (2) a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The base salary range for this role is $200000 $235000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors including experience skills qualifications and location. The range is provided as an initial approximation at the time of posting and may vary based on the individuals unique qualifications and experience.
