Job Description
Job Site: Head Start (Darrough Chapel ELC)
Hours/Days: up to 6 hours per day180 days (9.5 months)
Hourly Rate: $12.28 per hour
Benefits: N/A
Responsibilities:
Assist bus driver in supervision of children during bus routes to and from school. Monitor Head Start Students to ensure they follow bus safety rules. Assist children in to and out of child safety restraints. Participate in annual Program self-assessment. Attend Head Start mandatory training and follow Head Start Performance Standards and state early childhood licensing requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Mandatory FBI fingerprinting background check and other mandatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with preschool age school age and disabled children.
This position is needed to maintain state and federal adult/child ratios.
