Machine Shop Operative
Location:Poole
Type:Full-time Permanent
We are working with a leading specialist in bespoke joinery and staircases who are seeking a Machine Shop Operative to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a range of woodworking machinery (CNC experience desirable but not essential)
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Assisting with the manufacture of bespoke joinery products including staircase components to high standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a machine shop or wood manufacturing environment ideally within joinery
- Understanding of wood materials and joinery techniques
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist joinery environment contributing to the production of high-quality bespoke staircases and joinery products.
Job Types: Full-time Permanent
Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
