The Opportunity:

Come and join our team! We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our houses in Tarneit and Werribee. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the residence
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance support and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation and management
  • Work according to clients Behavioural Support Plans

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • NDIS Clearance - You must already hold a valid NDIS Clearance to be considered for this position
  • First Aid (3 yrs) CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Experience managing behaviours of concern
  • Manual handling experience
  • Flexible availability across the week in a variety of shifts

What shifts do we offer:

We have a variety of shift times available across the week such as the below:

House 1:

  • 7am-10am
  • 6am-10am
  • 7am-3pm
  • 1pm-10pm
  • 2pm-11pm
  • 11pm-7am (active)

House 2:

  • 6am-2pm
  • 7am-11am
  • 7am-3pm
  • 2pm-10pm
  • 3pm-11pm
  • 11pm-7am (active)
