About the Role

Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Quality Engineer to ensure quality compliance and continuous improvement across both our external supplier network and internal material flow. This is a highly cross-functional role supporting Procurement Manufacturing Planning and Logistics. Its ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced regulated environment and enjoys solving problems across every phase of the supply chain.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain or Quality Management

  • 3 years of experience in quality or supply chain engineering in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and quality systems (AS9100 ISO 9001)

  • Hands-on experience with supplier audits root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (SPC Excel Minitab or equivalent)

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace defense or other highly regulated manufacturing industries

  • APICS or ASQ certifications (e.g. CPIM CQE CQA)

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and material traceability requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify and evaluate new and existing suppliers through audits and capability assessments

  • Monitor and improve supplier KPIs (PPM OTD NCR trends)

  • Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions

  • Manage and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and PPAPs per AS9102 and customer requirements

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 FAA and customer-specific quality standards across the supply chain

  • Audit and optimize internal material handling inventory accuracy and process adherence

  • Oversee internal quality controls for receiving kitting inventory movement and transfers

  • Support MRB processes and drive timely resolution of non-conforming material issues

  • Collaborate with Procurement Manufacturing and Planning to ensure seamless material flow and minimize quality risks

  • Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation for full traceability

  • Participate in PFMEA and other proactive quality planning efforts

  • Drive initiatives to reduce waste improve supply chain robustness and enhance KPIs such as inventory turnover and scrap rate

  • Perform additional duties as assigned and follow all DG safety procedures
