Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Quality Engineer to ensure quality compliance and continuous improvement across both our external supplier network and internal material flow. This is a highly cross-functional role supporting Procurement Manufacturing Planning and Logistics. Its ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced regulated environment and enjoys solving problems across every phase of the supply chain.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain or Quality Management
3 years of experience in quality or supply chain engineering in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and quality systems (AS9100 ISO 9001)
Hands-on experience with supplier audits root cause analysis and corrective actions
Proficiency with data analysis tools (SPC Excel Minitab or equivalent)
Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
Experience in aerospace defense or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
APICS or ASQ certifications (e.g. CPIM CQE CQA)
Familiarity with ERP systems and material traceability requirements
Qualify and evaluate new and existing suppliers through audits and capability assessments
Monitor and improve supplier KPIs (PPM OTD NCR trends)
Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
Manage and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and PPAPs per AS9102 and customer requirements
Ensure compliance with AS9100 FAA and customer-specific quality standards across the supply chain
Audit and optimize internal material handling inventory accuracy and process adherence
Oversee internal quality controls for receiving kitting inventory movement and transfers
Support MRB processes and drive timely resolution of non-conforming material issues
Collaborate with Procurement Manufacturing and Planning to ensure seamless material flow and minimize quality risks
Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation for full traceability
Participate in PFMEA and other proactive quality planning efforts
Drive initiatives to reduce waste improve supply chain robustness and enhance KPIs such as inventory turnover and scrap rate
Perform additional duties as assigned and follow all DG safety procedures
