Were hiring a Quality Engineer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale FL. Dayton-Granger is a privately owned third-generation manufacturer with over 82 years in business and an average employee tenure of 10 years. We support long-term aerospace programs for military commercial and general aviation customers while continuing to develop new products for emerging markets.

Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or related Engineering field
-
4 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
-
Strong analytical and statistical skills to collect synthesize and evaluate data
-
Hands-on experience with inspection tools (CMMs micrometers calipers)
-
Proficiency with root cause analysis tools (5-Why Fishbone diagrams etc.)
-
Experience with sampling plans (attribute variable sequential)
-
Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards
-
Proven ability to coordinate MRB activities and support internal audits
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Lean Six Sigma certification
-
Experience in aerospace defense or other regulated manufacturing industries
-
Knowledge of FAA or EASA compliance requirements
-
Experience leading FMEA activities and establishing quality KPIs
-
Ability to mentor and train others on quality tools and processes
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing ensuring consistent quality practices
-
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
-
Analyze inspection results and recommend process improvements
-
Develop and manage sampling plans and measurement system analysis (MSA)
-
Coordinate and lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities
-
Participate in Engineering Review Board (ERB) meetings to assess design and process changes
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints
-
Maintain quality documentation in accordance with DGs QMS and AS9100
-
Support audit activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
-
Follow all safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned
