Job Description

Job Description Summary
The Fowler School of Engineering is seeking two undergraduate students to assist with a one-day Python workshop for high school students as part of the Summer Engineering Academy. Student assistant will support instruction help students with coding tasks and asist with setup and teardown.

Responsibilities
Attend and support the full Pythonn workshops on 6/23/25 7/14/25 and 7/21/25 (9:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.) Help prepare the learning environment and set up equipment prior to the session Assist high school participants with debugging and Pythong programming tasks Ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants Work closely with Dr. Maryam Etezad and Instructor Tally Holcombe and follow instructors as needed Participate in brief prep and debrief meeting Must pass Live Scan background check

Required Qualifications
Availability for the full workshops on 6/23/25 7/14/25 and 7/21/25 Proficiency in Python programming Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to work with high school students in a hands-on learning environment
