WROC-TV/ in Rochester New York is hiring a Production Director who is responsible for researching planning managing and producing news programming.
Code and Direct daily live local newscasts and other live and prerecorded productions using Ross OverDrive and ENPS
Work closely with News Producers Photographers Engineers and other Directors to enhance our final on-air product
Edit with technical proficiency and visual effectiveness using Adobe Premiere
Work well in a collaborative team environment; multitasking problem-solving and making last-minute decisions under pressure and tight deadlines
Be self-sufficient managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
Perform other job-related requests and duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelors degree in communications or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience is preferred
Experience in news operations and/or production is preferred
Ross OverDrive ENPS and Adobe Premiere experience a plus
Demonstrate excellent communication skills; fluent in English oral and written
Available to work all dayparts (mornings evenings overnights weekends and holidays) as well as extended hours as assigned
Compensation $17-$18/hour commensurate with applicants experience and skill level.
