Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to support a busy GP Surgery in South East London. The ideal candidate will be confident using EMIS Web and have prior experience working within a GP practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and checking in patients
Booking and managing appointments
Handling incoming calls and queries
Processing prescriptions and referrals
Using EMIS Web to manage patient records accurately
Supporting clinical and admin staff with day-to-day operations
Requirements:
Experience working in a GP surgery (essential)
Proficiency with EMIS Web (essential)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently during busy shifts
