Role description:

By joining our Lenders & InvestorsTransaction Advisory teamas a Project Monitoring / Due Diligence Consultant we will make sure you get the experience and personalised learning support you need to take your career as far as you want it to are seeking to locate a career minded Surveyor to deliver service excellence in providing project-monitoring solutions.

Our sector is based in six offices across Ireland & the UK and provides expert support to international lenders and investors. With significant funds from Asia the US and the Middle East now flowing into European and emerging markets demand for the teams expertise is high. Our professionals help investors understand the assets they are investing in mitigate risks and how to maximise equity returns. For lenders the challenge is to manage the risks and deliver greater certainty around investments and loan facilities.

Role accountabilities:

  • Competent to be able to independently undertake lead and deliver Technical Due Diligence reports for funder and investor clients.
  • Able to review individual elements of a project at the Due Diligence Technical initial report stage and experienced in reviewing risk during the monitoring phase of the project.
  • Able to manage and co-ordinate Due Diligence Technical reports prepared by others and collate overall risk assessments for each individual element taking into account the impact of separate elements on the overall project.
  • Provide diligent ongoing monitoring during construction and approving draw-downs from the agreed fund.
  • Be client facing and be able to engage with clients on a regular basis to build relationships as part of a business development would involve elements of account leadership.
  • Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner at all times.
  • Effective communication ensuring all information is available for the successful completion of projects.
  • To liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control resulting in projects being cost effective.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven networks and experience
  • Successful track record working with lenders across the UK in a client facing role.
  • SCSI MRICS or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of property development market trends in procurement and funding of projects.
  • Literate and able to produce detailed due diligence reports focusing on cost programme and quality on behalf of a funder.
  • Capable of reviewing loan documentation to identify and monitor clauses for compliance and risk reports.
  • Able to recognise and catalogue financial security being provided by the Borrower (e.g. Collateral warranties Third Party Rights Performance Bonds Cost Overrun Cash Deposits etc.).
  • Experience of leading delivery team with exceptional client outcomes
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying Building Surveying or Buildings related degree
  • SCSI MRICS or equivalent qualification.
