The Data and Product Analyst supports data-driven decision-making at Informit by delivering insights that enhance product performance customer reporting and business outcomes.

About the role
As the Data and Product Analyst at Informit you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across our business. Reporting to the Head of Platform youll be responsible for analysing designing and delivering data reports that inform product content and sales strategies. Your insights will support the performance of Informits platforms and services and ensure reporting accuracy for both internal teams and our content partners.
Youll collaborate closely with teams across Product Sales Finance Customer Success and Technology to provide actionable data insights and process improvements. Whether its through analysing customer usage data tracking platform discoverability or advising on metadata best practices your contributions will help shape the strategic direction of Informits digital services.
About You
Youre a data-driven professional who thrives on uncovering insights that drive business performance. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset you bring a combination of technical expertise analytical thinking and stakeholder collaboration to every project. Your ability to manage data reporting across multiple systems and communicate insights clearly makes you a valuable partner to teams across product sales and customer success.
Experienced in developing and tracking commercial data reports that inform business strategy.
Skilled in analysing complex datasets and turning insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Organised and adaptable with a track record of managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Known for building effective collaborative relationships across teams and external partners.
Able to solve problems with critical and analytical thinking while maintaining high attention to detail.
Proficient in Excel Power BI (or equivalent) and Google Analytics with a high level of digital literacy.
knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases DAX coding data modelling and visualisation best practices well regarded
Familiar with third-party data applications and backed by a relevant qualification in an analytical or technical field.
Previous experience working in the publishing sector will be viewed favourably.
