About North East Link

The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victorias biggest road project.

The Spark Consortiums Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild CPB Contractors GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.

The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbournes freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135000 vehicles will use North East Link every day reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads.

About the Opportunity

Were seeking Monitoring Technicians of all skill levels to join the Instrumentation & Monitoring (I&M) team on Spark North East Link.

This role will be accountable for:

As a Monitoring Surveyor/Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and precise monitoring of construction activities on the North East Link central package. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting precise monitoring surveys to track movements settlements and deformations during construction activities
• Working effectively both autonomously and in a team environment
• Ensuring the reliability and accuracy of both 1d and 3d manual monitoring
• Installing and commissioning ATS systems on various structures

Qualifications:

• Cert IV/Diploma is Surveying (Desired but not required)

Minimum requirements for this role:

• Surveyors with 1 years experience and graduates are invited to apply
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid drivers licence
• Full work rights in Australia
