Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Temporary Works Coordinator to assist in managing the temporary works design (TWD) delivery during the construction phase of the project.

As Temporary Works Coordinator you will be accountable for:

  • Planning and controlling the delivery of Senior Temporary Works Design to ensure the achievement of quality completion and project objectives
  • Coordinating and liaising with respective Delivery Engineers to develop Temporary Works Design solutions to facilitate the construction of the Permanent Works
  • Managing design consultants allocated to the project to ensure that their progress meets requirements
  • Managing the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution
  • Managing client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team
  • Working in conjunction with the Engineering Manager in the assessment of design costs and schedules
  • Collating information and report against budgets and schedules
  • Understanding design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and leadership in the communication of requirements

Requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in temporary works design management on large civil projects or heavy civil construction delivery
  • Knowledge of project management structure plans specifications standards and implications for project accountabilities
  • Excellent problem solving influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
