Job Description

ATalent Acquisition Specialists Day can involve:

  • Developing a good understanding of the programs of work that AKG delivers and the various positions employed to deliver services
  • Developing a good understanding of Hiring Manager requirements including workplace culture and environment
  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media
  • Utilising social media to advertise positions attract candidates and enhance the employment brand of AKG
  • Proactively sourcing identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
  • Talent pool management utilising the candidate database to match the right person to the position
  • Reviewing applications conducting telephone interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates
  • Completing relevant background checks and references as required
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities salary and benefits of the position
  • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the Hiring Manager
  • Informing external candidates of the results of interview
  • Working towards and exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Stakeholder management
  • Working under limited supervision using a high level of initiative to resolve issues
  • Promoting AKG services and maintaining a high profile and professional company image
  • Participating in professional development and training as required
  • Involvement and participation in AKG meetings and functions as required
  • Undertaking the full range of staff recruitment and selection processes within agreed timeframes
  • Drafting interview questions coordinating candidate information and interview information
  • Managing the pre-employment on boarding process of the new hire into the business

Please note this is a part-time position for 22.8 hours per week with a minimum 1 day in the office.

To be considered you must

  • Have full working rights in Australia
  • Have a current drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
  • Must have a current Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
