Job Description

Position: Data Entry Clerk

Working Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST / 9:00 PM 6:00 AM Manila Time
Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data ensuring the integrity and security of all information handled. This role requires speed accuracy and a proactive attitude in managing large volumes of information.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter large volumes of data into spreadsheets and systems without errors

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards data recorders or scanners

  • Retrieve update and verify existing data from electronic files or databases as requested

  • Compare data entries with source documents to ensure accuracy

  • Organize and sort physical or digital paperwork post-entry to ensure nothing is misplaced

  • Perform regular data backups to prevent loss or of information

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all company data


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar data-intensive role

  • Fast and accurate typing skills; touch-typing proficiency is highly preferred

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word Excel etc.

  • Familiarity with standard office equipment and computer peripherals

  • Basic understanding of database systems

  • Strong English communication skills both written and verbal

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
