Description
The Service Designer for the Care-First Program is responsible for enhancing user experiences within public sector healthcare facilities. This role involves designing solutions that prioritize the needs of patients and healthcare providers utilizing a care-based insurance approach. With a background in administrative services and solid experience in service design the candidate will work collaboratively across teams to develop innovative solutions that improve service delivery and elevate care standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability tests to identify pain points in current healthcare services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design service solutions that enhance patient experience.
- Utilize design tools and the Adobe Creative Suite to create prototypes and visual representations of service designs.
- Implement and evaluate service improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Focus on care-based insurance models to support sustainable healthcare delivery.
- Assist in training and educating staff on new service design practices and tools.
- Stay updated with trends in healthcare design and service delivery to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Commerce or Arts or a Diploma in a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in service design or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency with design tools particularly Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Experience in co-design processes especially within healthcare contexts.
- Understanding of care-based insurance models and their application in health care redesign.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on user-centric design.
