Job Description
Physical Therapist
Location: Sanford North Carolina Employment Type: Full-Time Setting: Onsite
About the Role:
A well-established healthcare facility in Sanford NC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join its Rehabilitation Services team. This newly created position offers a dynamic mix of inpatient care in the mornings and outpatient clinic work in the afternoons. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered physical therapy services to help individuals regain movement and function following injury illness or surgery.
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans

Administer physical therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders
-
Accurately document patient progress and ensure compliance with insurance and departmental standards
-
Participate in broader hospital initiatives such as safety infection control clinical education and budgeting
-
Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and fellow rehabilitation staff to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)
-
Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of North Carolina

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient care
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical setting

Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient therapy environments
Work Environment & Schedule:

Based in Sanford North Carolina (on-site only)

Morning hours dedicated to inpatient hospital care; afternoons in an outpatient clinic
