Multi-Client Systems Engineering
- Administer and support Windows Server environments () Active Directory Azure AD Group Policy DNS and DHCP across multiple customer networks.
- Manage and support Exchange Office 365 IIS and SQL Server 2016 Enterprise environments.
- Design and implement server OS deployments leveraging image-based methodologies and automation tools.
Virtualisation & Storage
- Deploy monitor and maintain VMware infrastructure (vSphere ESXi vSAN vCenter) and virtualisation technologies for diverse clients.
- Support enterprise storage platforms such as Dell EMC (VxBlock Unity) and Nutanix HCI including EMC RecoverPoint and Veeam Backup & Replication across customer data centres.
Endpoint Management & Security
- Implement and manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) to enforce security and compliance across devices.
- Drive client-specific endpoint compliance patching and software deployment strategies.
- Ensure adherence to Essential 8 and regulatory compliance standards through robust policy configuration and monitoring
Monitoring Automation & Operations
- Use tools such as Datto RMM AutoTask and other MSP platforms to monitor system health perform proactive maintenance and respond to incidents.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell VBS and SQL scripts for automation reporting and client-specific tasks.
Project Delivery
- Take ownership of infrastructure projects across multiple clients like:
- Essential 8 Security Maturity Uplift
- Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) deployment
- On-premises to Microsoft Cloud migrations (Azure/365)
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define scope timelines and deliverables while managing competing priorities and changes.
- Document and communicate project status to internal and customer stakeholders regularly.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Network Engineering team to deliver cohesive solutions involving both system and network layers.
- Serve as a point of technical escalation for support teams and act as a liaison with customers during major changes or incidents.
- Build trust with customers through clear communication professional conduct and consistent delivery of quality outcomes.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in systems/infrastructure engineering roles preferably within an MSP environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client environments shifting demands and conflicting deadlines.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory Azure AD Exchange Office 365 Intune and Windows Server.
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualisation Dell EMC Nutanix and Veeam solutions.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell VBS SQL).
- Deep understanding of disaster recovery security compliance and backup strategies in multi-tenant environments.
- Experience with RMM and PSA platforms (Datto RMM AutoTask) is highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (Preferred)
- ITIL V4 Foundation (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Desirable)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
