Cybersecurity Engineer with hands-on technical expertise and a strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to support the cybersecurity lifecycle of DOD systems. This role demands a high degree of independence collaboration across cross-functional teams and in-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity standards. You will be responsible for securing systems from initial design through continuous monitoring ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in a related field.
- 5 years experience in cybersecurity engineering including applying (RMF).
- Strong working knowledge of NIST SP 800-series publications.
- Conduct system security assessments including vulnerability scanning and architecture reviews.
- Familiarity with a range of security assessment tools
- Experience working with both Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience in scripting with Python PowerShell Bash or Perl.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Able to pass translation test from Spanish into English at interagency language roundtable (ILR) level 3 or higher. Experience in working with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Officers in working to get products released to a wider audience than originally indented. Experience researching and writing intelligence reports. Experience supporting multinational customers.
