Job Description
Reporting into the Head of HR Supply Chain and Sourcingand based at our largest distribution site in Wiri youll play a key role as a trusted advisor delivering commercially sound and practical HR guidance across a broad range of areas - including employment relations performance management remuneration absence management and employee engagement.
Drawing on your toolkit of skills and experience you will:
- Build strong relationships with your stakeholders and provide hands-on practical support across the full spectrum of HR matters
- Identify opportunities for improvement and using data-driven insights design and deliver strategic people initiatives that shift the dial on engagement culture and performance
- Navigate and resolve complex employee relations issuesworking collaboratively and confidently in a unionised environment
- Partner with leaders to deliver strategies that enhance organisational performance and grow the capability of their teams
Qualifications :
While direct supply chain experience isnt essential were looking for someone with strong in-house HR experience whos used to being on the ground working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced hands-on environment.
Our wishlist:
- Solid experience in ER including confidently supporting or leading disciplinary processes investigations and coaching leaders through complex people matters
- Confidence to influence strategic direction partnering with leaders to shape workforce decisions that support both people and performance.
- Solid knowledge of NZ employment legislation and best practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solver
