Job Description
About the Role:
This is a varied and physical role that sits at the core of our facilities operations. Youll be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our site while also supporting daily operational tasks. From monitoring site access and completing regular facility checks to operating forklifts and managing recycling equipment no two days are the same and youll be working alongside a supportive tight-knit team that keeps our DC running like clockwork.
This role is Monday to Friday 4pm to 12.30am
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and managing site security including gatehouse duties and perimeter checks
- Performing regular facility inspections and reporting any maintenance needs
- Operating forklifts to support logistics and recycling processes
- Managing cardboard and polystyrene baling to support our sustainability efforts
- Assisting with general site maintenance and facilities support
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- A positive proactive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- A strong sense of responsibility especially when it comes to safety and security
- Previous forklift experience and a current OSH licence is preferred
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy for logging checks and reporting tasks
