The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.
Serving a billion members worldwide the Trust Foundations team is responsible for scalable infrastructure APIs and enforcement capabilities that enable LinkedIn to detect prevent and mitigate harm. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the next evolution of our platforms that enable Trust decisions - most importantly this role will be focused on enabling deeper integration of LLMs into the Trust decisioning platform.
This is a high-impact platform-focused role requiring deep expertise in Trust & Safety and GenAI. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Trust and Safety platform & GenAI/LLM experience and deep customer empathy. This role will be responsible for the evolution of our decisioning platform that enables developers to build rules models and scorers to prevent harm and building the vision for how we integrate LLMs into our workflows such that LLM driven decisions can be made at any point in a trust decisions life cycle. This role will also be the PM responsible for some of our Agentic capabilities used to make trust decisions on reported content and accounts with the goal of enabling scale improving accuracy and driving efficiency gains.
The right candidate for this role:
Has Trust & Safety domain expertise with a track record of building platform-level safety moderation or abuse-prevention solutions.
Has experience owning developer-facing products that support scaling GenAI/LLM driven solutions
Can drive multi-year high-impact strategies ensuring measurable improvements to developer efficiency and defense agility
Operates with autonomy and influence leading large-scale cross-organizational initiatives and has a track record of influencing organizational change.
Excels at navigating complex cross-org dynamics balancing business policy and technical constraints to ensure safety at scale.
This is an opportunity to lead a critical area of Trust shaping the future of how we build with LLMs and empower Trust teams to easily integrate LLM based decisions into their workflows.
Responsibilities:
Define and drive the strategy for LinkedIns Trust Decisioning platforms with a focus on GenAI/LLM integration
Lead a multi-year platform evolution of our decisioning platforms focusing on defense agility developer efficiency and LLM expansion.
Work closely with Trust Vertical teams to ensure that our platform capabilities meet their needs with deep collaboration to build robust customer influenced roadmaps and strategies.
Influence executive leadership engineering roadmaps and cross-org investment strategies ensuring that all trust decisions are migrated to flow through our centralized platform.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of experience in product management with at least 3 years focused on Trust & Safety abuse prevention or security-related products.
Technical understanding of how Trust platforms detection pipelines and enforcement systems operate.
Experience working with platforms that scale applications GenAI/LLMs
Background in influencing at the executive level driving multi-year strategic initiatives in complex cross-functional environments.
Demonstrated experience aligning with engineering customers in high-stakes fast-moving product spaces.
