Job Description
- Drive the completion of external audit including providing sufficient and reliable source documents ERP system data and coordinating intercompany and external parties confirmations
- Assist in delivering month-end financial reports including posting accounting journals reconciling monthly intercompany balances preparing consolidation reports and running ERP system reports
- Initiate ad hoc vendor payments through internet banking platforms review batch payments prepared by the Shared Services team to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Resolve discrepancies in payments and claims records by interacting with business units and shared services teams providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues
- Monitor cash book entries ensuring accurate foreign exchanges bank charges and interests are accurately updated and posted
- Liaise with Company Secretary Bankers Auditors and Tax Authorities to meet statutory submissions
- Maintain corporate statutory documentations log books accounting standard operating procedures
- Execute process improvement initiatives identify control gaps and propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Undertake other finance-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
- At least 8 years of prior experience working in finance role.
- Knowledgeable in matrix organization workflows especially finance-related processes.
- Experienced in managing external audits and month-end accounting closing.
- Strong Excel skills and proficient in managing complex financial modelling worksheets.
- CPA / ACCA or any equivalent accounting professional qualification will be an advantage.
- Experience with SOX controls and Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
- Fluent in English language (both spoken and written).
- Excellent oral and written communications and organizational skills.
- Independent and resourceful in managing daily tasks and stakeholders.
- Resilient and strong tenacity in handling challenging situations and timelines.
- Eagerness to be hands-on with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Show enthusiasm in learning driving continuous improvements in the role.
