Job Description

Portico are currently recruiting for an engaging and customer focused PT Membership Ambassador to join our team based at a well-known institution in the West End.

The institution offers business executives the opportunity to purchase a membership and in doing so enjoy the many benefits that they have to offer. This includes a place to work meet host clients and network as well as enjoying training sessions and seminars.

As a Membership Ambassador you will be the face of the institution engaging with members and visitors to enhance their experience.

Alongside this key duties of the Membership Ambassador are: -

  • To welcome new members and their guests providing comprehensive tours of the facilities and explaining all membership benefits.
  • To assist new members with the sign-up process by filling out online forms and ensuring all necessary information is collected.
  • To conduct follow-up communications via email and telephone to complete membership applications and address any queries.
  • To promote the benefits of membership while escorting guests of members to specific lounges or meeting rooms.
  • To gather and relay member feedback to help improve services and offerings.
  • To highlight key membership benefits such as prime location competitive pricing and networking opportunities. 

Hours: 24 hours per week shifts from 8:30am-5pm 3 days per week (Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday)
Salary: 18895 per annum

This is a Fixed Term Contract until 17/03/2026


Qualifications :

The successful candidate will have: -

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role preferably in a membership or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic IT and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • High levels of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent sales skills and abilities.
