Our client a well-established public accounting firm with over 50 years of success in Lake County Illinois is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team. What Youll Do:

Prepare and plan individual and corporate income taxes

Compile and review financial statements

Prepare payroll and sales tax returns

Perform bookkeeping services
-
Support audit engagements
-
Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to clients
What Youll Bring:
-
5 years of experience in public accounting
-
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting
-
CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification
-
Proficiency in Lacerte UltraTax Accounting CS and QuickBooks
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with discretion
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $81000-$90000 per year
