Job Posting: Electrical Engineer - Electrical Test
Company Information:At Radiation Test Solutions we provide radiation effects testing on electronics in support of large and small aerospace companies and device manufacturers. We are a smaller rapidly growing company based in Colorado Springs Colorado.
Job Description:We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team as an individual contributor responsible for testing the radiation tolerance and system survivability of electronic components and systems in natural and/or man-made radiation environments including terrestrial airborne and space applications. As a member of our highly qualified team expertise in every area is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement electrical test setups suitable for performing various radiation effects testing.
- Evaluate and analyze electrical test results for validity and statistical significance.
- Document radiation-induced effects on electronic parts and other materials (test plan/report).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Requirements:
- Understanding of electronic components - what they do and how they work.
- Ability to design circuits.
- Ability to test to a data sheet.
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is ideal but not required.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; degrees in Engineering/Physics with relevant experience will be considered.
- 2 years of related experience required.
- US Citizenship required.
- Analog design experience required.
