The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) isthePremierVertical Lift military program in the FLRAA aircraft will become the Armys primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Armys assault capabilities. The FLRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Armys tactical advantage infuture conflicts. The Bell FLRAA teamseeksthe top engineering talents from around the industry to design develop and deliver the worlds next-generation military aircraft.

Core Avionics (IPT) Network Integration Modeling - LeadEngineer

Within the FLRAA Core Avionics Integrated Product Team (IPT) the Network Integration Modeling Lead Engineer is responsible for design modeling and integrating the data architecture in models for the FLRAA program. The models are used by the aircraft flight computers to manage and share data across the aircraft digital backbone.

Developing creating and leading aircraft network interface models is the primary responsibility including software configuration hardware configurations and system interfaces.

Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) is an avionics system architecture that replaces multiple separate processors and line replaceable units (LRUs) with fewer more centralized processing units. This approach leads to weight reduction and cost savings making it a popular choice in modern aircraft including FLRAA.
