About This Role

We are seeking a talented test engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background to support a major US Army Program. As a Test Engineer you will perform planning coordination and execution of component subsystem and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 2 years related experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and directly support our nations war fighters. Responsibilities

Plan coordinate and schedule test and evaluation activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards
Prepare and/or review test plans test procedures test readiness reviews and test reports for functional environmental and field tests
Support in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of telemetry systems data recorders high speed cameras oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and other test instrumentation

Support customer test activities including product installation integration test data acquisition and analysis
Perform preliminary quick-look analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers
Coordinate with appropriate program engineering and external organizations during test planning execution analysis and reporting phases

Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills

10 - 15% Travel

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering or related field with 2 years related experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus

Must be able to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance; Active Secret clearance preferred

Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills
