Salary: $46.28 $61.33 per hour Full-Time
Lead Innovation at the Intersection of Technology and Patient Care
Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for healthcare transformation Were seeking an experienced Healthcare Applications Manager to oversee the research implementation and optimization of clinical and administrative applicationsplaying a key role in advancing patient safety operational efficiency and user satisfaction at our Watertown NY facility.
In this high-impact leadership role you will manage a dynamic team including Analysts Clinical Informatics Specialists Programmers and IS Educators. Your strategic vision and hands-on experienceparticularly with Meditech systemswill drive innovation across departments while aligning IT capabilities with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning implementation training and ongoing support for all enterprise applications.
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to identify technology needs and recommend solutions that improve workflow and care quality.
Supervise a multidisciplinary applications team (Analysts Informatics Programming IS Education).
Act as a trusted business consultant across hospital departments.
Oversee system upgrades integration efforts and user adoption strategies.
Maintain data integrity system security and regulatory compliance.
Champion staff education initiatives and best practices in system utilization.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare software implementation and support with Meditech proficiency required.
Proven leadership in managing application teams and IT projects in clinical environments.
Exceptional problem-solving organizational and communication skills.
Professional demeanor with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
High integrity confidentiality and accountability in all aspects of the role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
