Job Summary:
The Director of Supply & Planning provides leadership direction and accountability for the overall strategic and tactical activities in supply chain management to enable global sourcing of aerospace components and services and the end-to-end material planning receiving warehouse and shipping functions for this industry leading piston aviation engine company.
Leadership behavior and strategic insight to identify create and sustain capable business relationships while maintaining compliance with Lycoming Quality System Federal Aviation Administration AS9100 and adhering to Textrons internal standards regarding ethics and professional behaviors.
Leadership decision making ensures Safety Quality Delivery and Cost are attained to sustain and grow the business across domestic and international markets.
Organizational leadership cross cultural acumen and a comprehensive knowledge of technology applications and global sourcing including e-commerce are required.
This leader is responsible for the development and sustainment of policy procedures and standard work processes.
The Director must measure monitor and mitigate risk and opportunity. The Director is responsible to develop and implement sources and processes as required to support New Product Development new market business strategies and existing product and service support.
This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Lycoming Engines.
