Job Description: the role of a dishwasher is essential to the smooth functioning of a kitchen as they play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that kitchen operations run efficiently.
- The primary responsibility is to wash dishes utensils glassware pots pans etc. either by hand or using dishwashing machines.
- Ensuring that all kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized. This includes cleaning countertops stoves ovens and other kitchen appliances.
- Properly storing clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Also organizing storage areas and keeping them tidy.
- Supporting kitchen staff by helping with food preparation such as chopping vegetables portioning ingredients or preparing simple dishes.
