Job Description

TECHNICAL TEAM LEAD - SPECIALTY ADDITIVES

Shape next generation animal nutrition strategies and deliver core nutritional solutions with an established U.S. based manufacturer! We seek an experienced Technical Service Professional with a proactive problem-solving mindset to leverage his/her expertise to develop and implement nutritional programs and provide tailored product and service solutions to optimize the health and performance of livestock animals helping commercial producers feed manufacturers & integrators be more successful. *** This is a hands-on leadership role. ***

Lead and mentor a team of species-specific technical professionals
Develop go-to-market strategy. Continuous learning mindset!
Work with leadership to identify areas for growth and improvement.

Develop individual team members
Partner with sales to deliver technical support and training
Drive cross-functional collaboration and strategic alignment
Support product innovation especially in feed additives

Translate research and data into practical field-ready solutions

Travel with and support team members out on the field
Gain industry and cutting-edge knowledge
Be a credible technical influence to customers prospects and key accounts

Admin Tasks: people management P&L budgets forecasting project reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

MS / PhD in Animal Science Monogastric Nutrition or applicable field of study*

6 or more years in animal nutrition livestock production or pet industry (tech support R&D)

Proven team leadership experience at least 1 year

Strong communicator.Strategic-thinker!

Organized. Team Player.

Travel: 30% domestic US

QUALIFICATIONS:

MS / PhD in Animal Science Monogastric Nutrition or applicable field of study*

6 or more years in animal nutrition livestock production or pet industry (tech support R&D)

Proven team leadership experience at least 1 year

Strong communicator.Strategic-thinker!

Organized. Team Player.
