General Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic surveys boundary surveys and construction layout surveys using total stations GPS and other survey equipment
- Analyze survey data and prepare reports maps and drawings for use by project teams
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of survey data
- Monitor and maintain survey equipment ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Train and supervise junior survey staff on proper survey techniques and procedures
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure survey requirements are met
- Conduct quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Keep accurate records of survey data including field notes sketches and digital files
- Communicate with clients contractors and other stakeholders to address any survey-related issues or concerns
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on job sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Survey Engineer preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as total stations GPS and laser scanners
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles techniques and procedures
- Experience with AutoCAD and other survey software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Fluency in English and Arabic both written and verbal.
