Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of database concepts relational models and normalization.
- Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
- Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer TOAD or similar.
- Understanding of performance tuning and execution plans.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test and deploy PL/SQL code including packages procedures functions triggers and views.
- Optimize and fine-tune existing PL/SQL queries and programs for better performance.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Work closely with front-end developers and application teams to integrate database logic with application functionality.
- Debug and resolve database-related issues in development test and production environments.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for PL/SQL code and processes.
- Support data migration transformation and loading (ETL) activities as required.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for SQL and PL/SQL development.
