On May 1st 1989 Rich Ackley and a team of talented people pooled their combined 100 years of experience and founded Dalmatian Fire Inc. in Indianapolis Indiana. On the same day Rich also opened a branch office in Cincinnati Ohio.
The second week of Dalmatians operations the company sold an $8900 tenant finish sprinkler job in Cincinnati. Now we have produced in excess of $515 million in fire sprinkler revenue.
In 1995 we opened our third branch office in Columbus Ohio and in 2005 we opened our fourth branch office in Louisville Kentucky. We joined Shambaugh & Son L.P. a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc. and together we perform more than $1 billion of construction projects per year with over 3000 employees throughout 50 states from our home office in Fort Wayne Indiana.

Job Summary:
Dalmatian is looking for a Warehouse Lead responsible for coordinating construction materials equipment and warehouse personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order stage and coordinate material tool and equipment requests from sales / office personnel and field personnel.
- Coordinate & assist with loading and deliveries to project sites
- Schedule deploy and follow up on material orders directing driving and handling personnel.
- Maintain inventory of the shop tracking and initiating the need for repair on vehicles tools and equipment as needed.
- Maintain the reports and documentation needed for an organized shop (SDS Safety Book FE FWOs FED papers)
- Professionally communicate and meet with field staff office staff and vendors regularly.
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Accountable Work Ethic.
- Experience with Outlook/Excel/Word/PDF.
- Basic computer knowledge and organizational skills.
- Drivers License with good driving record.
- Regional travel required. Vehicle will be provided.
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
