Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for a full time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). This role is critical to our mission so we are offering up to a $15000 Sign On Bonus.
What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections maintenance modifications and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models including diagnosing malfunctions disassembly rework repair replacement reassembly and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery.
Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting inspection and repair of turbine engines including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes systems checkout and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines.
Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers micrometers pressure gauges dial gauges vacuum gauges timing lights and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
What you need to be successful:
High school education or GED
A&P License Required
Knowledge of 100-hour annual and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is .
A minimum of 2 years experience with varied jet turboprop piston modification aircraft/flight maintenance
