Job Description:

Were seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive the architecture and design of modernizing our flight crew manifest systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java /Spring Boot and PostgreSQL with a proven track record of leading engineering teams working with third parties and stakeholders and designing scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design and implementation of new systems
Collaborate with product owners/stakeholders/third parties to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Establish technical standards best practices and design patterns
Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering team members
Ensure code quality through code reviews and implementation of testing strategies
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve our tech stack
Requirements
8 years of experience with Java web frameworks experience as a technical leader
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Proven track record of leading technical projects from conception to delivery
Experience with event driven architecture and container technologies
Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or GCP)
Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or MQ
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Understanding of monitoring and observability tools

Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams
Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services
