Full-time Permanent Monday to Friday 8:00am 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of plant modifications including hazard assessments and HAZOP studies.
- Determine the appropriate scope of hazard assessments perform engineering calculations guide testing programmes and revise process designs based on findings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry codes of practice.
- Collaborate with project engineering teams to develop plant layouts costings and proposals.
- Provide expert input on process improvement projects and support R&D in developing scalable chemical processes.
- Offer technical guidance to internal teams customers and third-party consultants on safety design and processing methods.
- Take ownership of specified projects managing budgets resources and timelines to meet business objectives.
- Oversee the commissioning of new and modified plant operations to meet production targets.
What Were Looking For
- Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning and on-plant troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of COMAH and DSEAR regulations.
- Familiarity with SIL LOPA and DIERS methodologies.
- Track record of developing new chemical processes and enhancing existing ones.
