Job Description
General
Location:KnneritzstraeLeipzig Germany
Contract:part-time (30h/week) initially fixed-term for 2 years followed by the option of a subsequent employment contract with an infinite duration
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Manage medical emergencies administer medications and supervise the health office.
- Develop and monitor Health Plans Emergency Plans and IEPs.
- Provide confidential health advice to students and collaborate with parents on care decisions.
- Organize annual flu shots and manage the register of students with medical conditions.
- Assist with external medical services and complete accident reports.
- Participate in Student Support Services and relevant school meetings.
- Coordinate communicable disease control and advise on infectious disease management.
Your profile
- A degree as officially qualified medical nurse preferably as a paediatric nurse
- Strong empathy for small and large patients
- Experience in handling emergencies is desirable
- Educational experience is desirable
- Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as the use of IT and new technologies
- High competency in English and German
- Experience of working in an internationally-minded and diverse working environment is preferred
