Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
Applications are encouraged from suitably qualifieddoctors with an interest in neurosurgery who have undertaken rotations in Neurosurgery at the level of a senior resident (Post-Graduate Year 3) or greater.
This position will expose the successful candidate to a broad range of elective and emergency cranial and spinal neurosurgery. The clinical program includes daily ward rounds outpatient clinics and theatre sessions weekly cerebrovascular and neuro-oncology multidisciplinary meetings fortnightly audit and complex spine meetings and departmental educational presentations and monthly skull base MDMs.
