Salary:Base wage of $34.46 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation contributions 23.3% casual loading and 12.5% scaled penalty.

YOUR NEW ROLE
The purpose of the role is to effectively utilise all security related systems to proactively monitor the Sydney Opera House precinct for early threat detection in order to allow for the provision of a safe and secure physical environment. Furthermore the role is responsible for the coordination of the appropriate response to all security fire medical and emergency related incidents that may occur onsite.

ARE YOU THE ONE
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated operational experience within a security control room environment utilising a range of security systems within a high profile or high public visitation site.
- Proven experience in investigating security medical fire or emergency related incidents through the examination of related security systems.
- Display a high level of attention to detail and the ability to resolve problems requiring interpretation and assessment of complex situations.
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills with intermediate to advanced computer skills as well as strong administrative and report writing skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in complex environments that have the potential to jeopardise the safety of people and the integrity of the building.
- A valid WWCC(working with children clearance).
- The ability to work 12 hour shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster pattern.
