Job Title: CDL Driver (Class A or Class B)
Location: Missouri City TX
Pay Rate:$19/hr. (Class B) $21/hr. (Class A)
Job Description:
Our client in Missouri City is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Driver with a Class A or Class B license. The ideal candidate will have experience in strapping down loads particularly pipe and will be responsible for securing and transporting materials using a 24 ft flatbed truck. The position requires a thorough understanding of load safety and strapping techniques to ensure all deliveries are secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 24 ft flatbed truck to transport materials primarily pipe.
- Safely strap down loads to ensure secure transportation.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate driving records.
- Communicate with the logistics team regarding deliveries and schedules.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Class A or Class B).
- Experience with strapping down loads especially pipe.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to strapping and securing loads.
